Properties of 3DJake ecoPLA
3DJake ecoPLA is an affordable & high-quality alternative for frequent printers, which is characterised by its excellent properties and ease of processing.
- Tougher & less brittle than conventional PLA filament
- Good diameter and roundness tolerances
- No unpleasant smells
- Minimal shrinkage
- Minimal warping
3DJake ecoPLA filament can be used with almost all FDM 3D printers.
Due to the lack of a spool, the production is more cost-intensive, which means that the refill filaments currently still have a higher base price.

Phew it works
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I wanted to try a spool-free refill but wasn't sure it would fit. Happy to say that this fits perfectly on this prusament adaptor - https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/1127-prusament-spool-to-master-spool-adapter.
Also I was worried it would tangle - I did have to uncoil a couple of turns, push it under and then recoil a couple of turns, I've printed for hours trouble free now. It's not as tightly wound as a regular spool, but that doesn't seem to be a problem.
And the filament? It's 3DJake ecoPLA so you know it's fine.
