Description
This remote-controlled filtration kit from Alveo3D was developed specifically for Bambu Lab 3D printers. The kit reduces ultrafine particles (UFPs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by four times, thus ensuring a more pleasant printing environment with consistently high-quality print results.
What makes the filtration kit so special?
- Minimise harmful emissions: The integrated HEPA13 filter captures the smallest particles that are created during printing. The activated carbon reliably neutralises VOCs for a fresh environment.
- Larger filter, better performance: Thanks to the revised design with a larger filter area, you benefit from even more efficient air purification.
- Versatile DIY options: You can print the main components yourself - the STL files are free. You only have to buy the essential parts such as the P3D-R filter, H12 fan, screws and magnets.
- Easy integration, no modifications: The kit can be installed without any changes to your printer. It is conveniently controlled via remote control.
- Also serves as a container to collect filament waste.
Note: STL files with You can find parts for printing yourself below!
Tip: It is recommended to replace the filter after approximately 600 hours of printing time or every two months.

FAQs:
This clearly looks like a ventilation inlet/outlet on the front of the unit. How does this circulate the air?
The chamber fan normally stops when printing with ASA or ABS to maintain a stable temperature in the chamber - a requirement for these high-temperature filaments. However, with the Alveo3D kit, the integrated fan remains running and ensures that the air inside the chamber is circulated, keeping the temperature optimally high for printing. In addition, the kit includes an exhaust damper that efficiently removes air, which is particularly beneficial for filaments such as PLA or PETG, which do not require high temperatures.
Why is the air extracted from the area where the filament waste comes out? Doesn't this affect the process?
The waste filament is collected in the second part of the kit, which contains a pipe to circulate the hot air. Although some cleaning is required to remove the accumulated plastic waste, the system ensures that this is handled effectively. The kit has been specifically designed to ensure maximum safety for users, without requiring structural changes or a complete enclosure of the machine.
