BondTech BMG-X2 Extruder

The Bondtech BMG-X2 extruder combines high resolution and performance with low-weight and a compact design. Combined with proven and highly praised dual-drive technology, you can expect trouble-free filament extrusion. This extruder can be used with the E3D multi-extrusion solutions Chimera+ and Cyclops+ Hotends for a compact multi-extrusion solution

This extruder is suitable for the newer Chimera+ / Cyclops+ with a CC of 20.00 mm, make sure you have the right version for your application.

This extruder supports only 1.75 mm filament.

The Bondtech BMG-X2 is based on our proven BMG design, which uses an internal gear ratio of 3: 1 along with precision CNC machined hardened steel drive gears to give you a compact powerhouse for all your multi-extrusion applications. Whether you need high-resolution, small-nozzle or high-flow, large-nozzle printouts, the optimized gear ratio combined with industry-leading drive gears provides unprecedented thrust and lightning-fast retraction in a lightweight and compact dual extrusion package.

Stepper motors included
The included high-performance NEMA17 stepper motors offer high torque and low weight.

Flexible mounting options
Our standard CNC machined aluminium holder can be used to mount the extruder as shown in the photos, or a simple 3D printed holder can be used. You can download a CAD or STL file for the extruder mounting that gives you the dimensions you need to design your custom fixture.

The extruders are delivered without brackets and hot-ends.
