BondTech DDG V2 extruder

Bondtech's DDG V2 extruder is a plug-and-play high-performance extruder system that uses Dual Drive Gear technology for smooth material feeding.

The extruder is compatible with most Ultimaker 3D printers, but may have different requirements depending on the model:

• For Ultimaker 2+ you need 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Standard + 1 x UM DDG Converter Cable ,
• For the Ultimaker 3 series you need 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Standard + 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Mirrored + 2 x UM DDG Converter Cable ,
• For the Ultimaker S3 series you need 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Standard + 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Mirrored,
• For the Ultimaker S5 series you need 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Standard + 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Mirrored,
• For the Ultimaker S7 series you need 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Standard + 1 x DDG V2 Extruder Mirrored.

The extruder is also compatible with the Ultimaker Material Station.

Features of the DDG V2 extruder:

• Symmetrical design which can be mounted on both sides,
• Nickel-coated hardened steel drive gears for standard and abrasive materials,
• A UM filament sensor can be accommodated inside,
• Adjustable tension mechanism with pre-tension scale,
• The filament tension can be adjusted with a 2 mm Allen key,
• No firmware update is required,
• No hardware changes or adjustments are required (except for UM2+ and UM3, where a UM DDG converter cable is required to reverse the direction of filament feed),
• Only suitable for 2.85 mm filaments.

Easy installation

The printer's stepper motor is still used with this extruder. The DDG V2 extruder mounts in the same position and mounting holes as the standard extruder on your Ultimaker 3D printer. This means that its installation should take no more than 10 minutes.

ATTENTION! The extruder is only compatible with 2.85 mm filaments!
