The most popular nozzles are still made of brass. Why? Because the material is quite cheap despite numerous positive characteristics.

High-precision brass nozzles can be produced. The material conducts heat perfectly and does not corrode. Thus, it has the best conditions for the most common materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG and more. It is wonderful to work with.

Unfortunately, brass is reaching its limits with abrasive particle materials. Metal, wood, carbon or glow in the dark filaments are too much for brass to handle.
Nonetheless, the brass nozzles remain our absolute all-rounder and are perfect for every printer.
