The most important updates to the predecessor:
- Improved automatic levelling with Original Antclabs BLTouch
- Dual-Drive Gear
- MEANWELL 24V power supply
- Aluminium build board (has better thermal conductivity than glass)
- Filament sensor - new design
The features of the CR-10S Pro:
Creality attaches great importance to nine top features of the Creality CR-10S Pro.
1. Matrix levelling
The CR-10S Pro features a BL touch sensor that allows the printer to automatically detect the bed and assist in reading a dot matrix over the bed for bed levelling.
2. V2.4.1 motherboard
The CR-10S Pro V2 has an updated version of the motherboard. This increases the stability and reliability of the printer performance.
3. Capricorn teflon tubes
The CR-10S Pro V2 features the Bowden extruder assembly of the CR-10S and features Capricorn Teflon tubing - the best option for filament delivery.
4.) Touch screen screen
New long-life touch screen unit and a simplified user interface on the CR-10S Pro V2.
5.) Resume printing function
The CR-10S Pro V2 can pick up the print where it left off after a power outage.
6.) Filament sensor
As with the CR-10S, the CR-10S Pro V2 features filament runout detection - a welcome feature for long filament-eating prints.
7.) Double gear extruder
One of the hardware upgrades is the double gear feed in the extruder.
8.) Fast heating up from the printing bed
The heated bed of the CR-10S Pro V2 can be heated to a maximum of 110 degrees Celsius in 5 minutes.
9.) Reliable power supply
The CR-10S Pro V2 has a Meanwell power supply, a reputed brand known for the reliability and security of its PSUs.

The CR10s Pro V2 is a serious bit of kit and reasonably well made. The only down side I can see is ABS, it’s a shame Creality do not offer an optional enclosure kit to maintain temperature when printing the likes of ABS.

While it might be a good printer the poor quality control makes it a very risky purchase. Mine was broken on arrival and it did not appear to have broken during shipping so most likely it was shipped broken from the manufacturer.
