"Sprite" direct dual gear extruder for high filament compatibility
The "Sprite" direct dual gear extruder developed by Creality has two chrome steel gears that are switched with a gear ratio of 1: 3.5. With a force of up to 80N, the extruder achieves a smooth and even feed and extrusion of filaments without slipping and is ideal for printing flexible filaments such as TPU. With a weight of only 210g, the "Sprite" is lighter than other direct extruders and is characterised by lower inertia and more precise positioning.
CR-Touch automatic levelling
The CR-Touch 16-point automatic bed-levelling technology saves you from the effort of manual levelling. The intelligent levelling system automatically compensates for the print height of various points on the heated bed.
High-precision dual Z-axis for higher printing precision
With a dual Z-axis leadscrew & Z-axis dual-motor design, the Ender 3 S1 works smoother and more in sync, reducing lines and edges on the sides of your print to improve print quality.
Removable print surface made of PC spring steel
The innovative printing platform is a combination of a PC coating, a spring steel plate and a magnetic plate that immediately adheres to the surface when it is detached. The PC coating ensures good adhesion and easy removal of the printed models by bending the surface.
Ultra-quiet 32-bit motherboard
The brand new 32-bit silent motherboard runs at low decibel levels (below 50dB) and significantly reduces noise, so you can enjoy 3D printing.
Convenient operation & new user interface
The 4.3 inch LCD button screen has a brand new user interface for easy interaction. When inactive, the screen is automatically dimmed for 5 minutes to save energy and protect the environment.
Resume printing function and filament sensor
The Ender 3 S1 has the function to detect filament running out or breakage / loss of performance and to continue printing after restoration. By accurately recording the print data at the time of a power failure / filament run-out or break, filament and time can be saved.
Pre-assembled 3D printer - Easy assembly in 6 steps
96% of the printer housing is pre-installed, making it easy to assemble in just 6 steps and allowing easy and straightforward maintenance of the printer.
Existing interface for laser engraving and LED light
With preset interfaces for laser engraving and LED light, the Ender 3 S1 offers you more options.
Note: Laser engraving and LED light must be purchased separately.
Belt tensioner with button
The belt tensioner is an easy-to-use tool that prevents problems such as layer shifting due to insufficient strength.
Additional Information
Marlin 2.1.2 Input Shaping
Want to push your printer to the limit? Then you can upgrade this printer with the latest version of Marlin firmware, which includes input shaping - a feature that smooths out unwanted vibrations that can cause unsightly ringing and other imperfections in your print, thereby limiting your print speed. Upgrading to Marlin firmware can reduce your print time by around 30%. Marlin firmware is easy to install and completely free!
You can find the latest Marlin update here, along with configuration files for your printer and instructions for installing and changing the firmware. You can find our article on high-speed printing here.

Great printer
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
After two weeks of usage I am very happy with this printer!
Easy to set up and after some leveling (which took a little while, but not to stressful) it started to produce very good results.
I had to loosen all the rollers as they were set veery tight out of factory, also had to fiddle with Z-level a bit (had to bring it down to -3.75).
Since I am new to 3d printing, not sure if this was the right call though...
My first fillament change was pretty easy, the nozzle purges after a few small layers and the prints come out clean again.
Bed adhesion is also good, a quick dry wipedown with a microfibre sheet was more than sufficient.
Just make sure to run the occasional auto-bedlevel every few prints.
As for noise levels I have to deduct one star as the fans are very audible. I was told that this still is a rather quiet printer but have now come to the conclusion that I will need to switch out the fans for something quiteter sooner than later.
Note that I am using this printer in my living room, so if you are using it in a separate room the noise level is fine.
As for the delivery: 5 stars, very fast even considering that I ordered it right before easter holidays!
All in all: can only recommend this one if you want to get into this hobby for a reasonable price! Was this rating helpful? (2) (1)

My first 3D Printer and didn't disapoint me at all!
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I'm from Germany, somehow the printer was delivered from Austria, and I think that's the reason why it took longer to deliver it to me.
The assembly of this printer was very easy. It took me about 50 min to fully assemble it. I know it's longer than they advertise it. But that's just because I never had a 3D printer, so I was very very careful during the assembly not to make any mistakes. That is the reason why it took me about 1 hour to put the printer together.
The printer is pretty quiet during printing, besides the fans which are actually loud and annoying. They could have put a lot quieter fans in... The other annoying thing is the fast bed moving. Somehow, when the bed is moving fast it makes some sus loud noises which I would like to fix, but don't know what's causing them. Fortunately, it has no side effects on printing.
The first prints were not that great: bad adhesion, uneven prints, and sometimes even the layers didn't stick together...
But, it was all easy to fix. All the problems were caused by wrong slicings. After about 2 days of experimenting and researching, I did manage to get nice clean prints. Even perfect 0,8 mm layers.
Overall, it's a nice printer. I don't suggest you buy it, because it's my first printer and I'm just not experienced enough in 3D printing.
I like this printer!
