Description
The Fiberlogy PA12 + CF has the technical capabilities of PA12 and has been further enhanced by the addition of 5% carbon fibres. Compared to unmodified nylon PA12, it is characterized by high heat resistance and lower shrinkage.
The addition of carbon fibres allows for weight reduction of the component while maintaining its high structural rigidity.
PA12 + CF offers a wide range of applications across the industry, including the automotive and engineering industries, to develop advanced prototypes, drones and end products that require increased durability while reducing weight.
Properties
- Double the tensile strength of PA12
- More than twice as stiff as PA12
- Higher thermal resistance compared to unmodified PA12 (up to 160 ° C)
- High chemical resistance
Note: The material has very abrasive properties. We recommend the use of hardened steel or ruby nozzles.
