Pellet 3D printing is a 3D printing process that uses thermoplastics in the form of granules or pellets instead of filaments to complete an object layer by layer. This type of additive manufacturing involves lower material costs and shorter manufacturing times but requires a special pellet extruder with an integrated hopper.
3D printing with pellets is perfect for BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing) or MAAM (Middle Area Additive Manufacturing).

PLA from Fillamentum is a high-quality, easy-to-print material made from natural raw materials that can be biodegraded through industrial composting. PLA is characterised by high surface hardness and temperature resistance up to 50 °C.
