Description
Four filaments are combined and fed into your 3D printer. The Palette 2S takes your builds to a whole new level.
The most reliable experience so far
Palette 2S offers you the simplest printing process for multiple materials. With a plug-and-play setup, you can use the Palette 2S with any of your printers and get the most out of your printer.
One nozzle, four filaments, infinite potential
Print your designs without compromise. Improve communication and create geometric freedom with many colours and soluble support in one print.
Flexibility of the software
Use CANVAS for an improved user experience, or continue to use your favourite offline slicers and post-processing tools to print with your Palette 2S.
Automated filament management
No more worries about printing with not full spools. When a spool is empty, Palette 2S automatically connects to another spool to maintain the printing process even when you are not around.
For the Palette 2S and 2S Pro, we focused on reliability and ease of use. We reviewed the core systems of the Palette 2/2 Pro, optimised it, and tested its lifespan to ensure that we could raise the bar for multi-material 3D printing.
Increased speed
There are a number of factors that affect the maximum printing speed: your layer height, your model and the splicing speed of the palette.
With both splicecores, your 2S and 2S Pro palette can splice 10% faster than their predecessors.
Pre-uploaded firmware
If you remove your 2S / 2S Pro pallet from the box, you can start printing immediately.
Optimised drive arms
With the 2S and 2S Pro palette, the drive arms consistently control the material path even more, allowing you to more accurately and reliably control even at higher speeds.
CANVAS
A project management tool, a content authoring tool, and a cloud slicer. It has undergone a significant change, allowing you to create, store, and print content in ways that no other platform can. Below is a brief overview of some of the biggest changes:
CANVAS Paint
CANVAS Paint is our content creation tool that allows anyone to create multicolour content from single-colour .stl files. With this tool, you can make the most of the palette by customizing the content.
Project management and sharing
One of the big advantages of the cloud is the ability to share projects with multiple users. Project Link Sharing lets you share your projects with the Palette Community or your own network.
Cloud slicing
Since the introduction of CANVAS Beta in 2018, we have increased the slicing speed of CANVAS three times. We also fixed the bugs that led to slower cutting speeds and clipping errors in the beta phase. If the cloud is not for you, we continue to support other desktop-based slicers with our free post-processing tool Chroma.

Steep Learning curve
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
ok so there is a steep learning curve with this device, you need to make sure your extruder is calibrated correctly. there can be no places where the filament is unconstrained and if possible use the short tube from the palette to your printer. I'm using an Ender 3 Pro and I also had to print a little tensioner so the extruder clip to prevent slipping.
Once those tweaks had been done I then started to get successful calibration prints, I had done a lot of keychain and earbud cases trying to get it to do the layers right and the pings were very erratic and doing the above solved that and allowed me to print successfully. none of this is in the manual I had to find out by posting on the Mosaic Facebook group but to be fair Jonny from Mosaic was very helpful and walked me through what I needed to do.
