Description
Ziflex is a flexible and heat-resistant surface. Different surfaces are available for many materials. Thanks to its magnetic technology, Ziflex is firmly attached to your print bed and is perfectly placed every time!
Magnetic technology
In order to meet the requirements of the 3D printing industry, special magnets were developed for the Ziflex. The right connections and manufacturing processes have been found to deliver this high quality, high-temperature resistant product. Using magnetic technology, you can easily remove the print surface and put it back on again without having to calibrate again.
Low temperature up to 70 ° C
The Ziflex can handle the highest temperature on the market. You can now even print PEEK with the product. Depending on your needs, there are two different print surfaces that you can choose from. The high temperature variant is suitable for temperatures up to 120 ° C, whereas the low temperature variant is suitable for temperatures up to 70 ° C.
Durable and strong
This Ziflex was developed to ensure strong positioning and a long service life.
Ziflex Ultimate Surface
Interchangeable printing surface for your Ziflex system! The magnetic plate that is included in the Ziflex Starter Kit is required.
The Ziflex Ultimate Surface is available in different sizes to fit different printers. The Ultimate printing surface offers very good adhesion for almost all printing materials. Compared to the previous version, it has been revised and is now much more stable. This makes the product less sensitive to calibration errors that can damage the surface when the print is removed.

The print bed first feels quite thick, compared to spring steel ones. Compared to them, this is more like plastic mat, it does not act like spring steel at all. This brings a new problem: If you leave it warp, make sure that it's flat against the magnet side as the magnet sheet isn't strong enough to pull it flat when it has formed itself into an arc. This increased flexibility has benefits and downsides.
For printing: Eh, it's love and hate. Prints bind to it very well. Or they don't. No matter how well you clean the bed, sometimes prints just won't bind. And next time when you print on the same spot, the print binds so tightly that you have to break the model to get it off the cooled bed. So, there's no sweetspot with this sheet: Prints either bind to it like glued or they don't bind at all. This also can occur in different areas of the bed: First print in the same area, half of the area is where filament doesn't bind. Then next time you print, it's vice versa. It's just flipping coin whether you get the first layer properly adhere but not too tightly.
Once you get a model off it, it looks nice and flat without any grain or bumpy surface finish (so, if you like grain texture, this isn't for you). However: dark filaments suddenly get this white haze on them, where you can see what was the shape of first layer of the previously printed models. This occurs even when you have rinsed the bed properly with IPA as manufacturer recommends. And this occur even when you even have printed only black filament. So, if you need a high quality surface finish with even, clean color, DO NOT USE this sheet.
I want to like it but I've started to hate it. Therefore, look elsewhere. Not recommending.
