The innovative DLP technology

DLP is a 3D printing technology that uses a DLP 3D printer to print incredibly detailed and precise resin-based models.

A DLP printer is equipped with an optical projector. This projects the 3D model layer by layer onto the surface of the liquid resin. Thanks to concentrated beams, the resin hardens in specific places. The hardened layer is pressed upwards, covered with another layer of resin, exposed and over time the precise 3D model is finally printed layer by layer.

Making use of multiple algorithms

By applying the latest light uniformity algorithm, the light uniformity of the surface layer is more than 92%!

An antialiasing algorithm greatly improves the antialiasing effect and enables printing of a more detailed surface on miniatures.

Longer service life of the light source system

Unlike LCD 3D printers, the Anycubic Photon D2's light source system has a longer lifespan of 20,000 hours. This also means lower maintenance costs!

Larger build volume

The build volume of the Anycubic Photon D2 has been increased by 62% compared to the Anycubic Photon Ultra. This also increases the print area by 55%!

Quiet printing

DLP 3D printers don't need a fan for heat dissipation because the light source system generates almost no heat! As a result, Anycubic Photon D2 reduces printing noise down to 35 dB, ensuring an incredibly quiet printing experience!

Energy-saving printer

The power rating of the Photon D2 is only 15W, which is about 1/4 that of an LCD 3D printer! You can also be environmentally friendly with 3D printing!

Better adhesion to the print bed thanks to a special pattern

The print bed is equipped with a specially developed and laser-engraved pattern reminiscent of a chess board. This unique pattern improves the adherence of the models to the build platform and makes them easier to detach from the print bed!
