Description
The Sidewinder X1 offers a lot of great features, a large build space - and all of this at a very competitive price. As a result, the printer has become one of the most popular 3D printers on the market.
Direct drive extruder
A direct drive extruder significantly improves the reliability of the 3D printer, especially with flexible filaments. This is a rare feature for a 3D printer in the entry-level segment.
Large installation space
The Artillery Sidewinder has a very large build space of 300 x 300 x 400 mm. This also gives you enough space for larger projects.
Dual Z-axis
The dual Z-axis ensures more synchronous movements and high print precision. This ensures that the X-Carriage is always moved parallel to the building board, even if one of the Z-axis stepper motors fails.
Lattice-glass printing surface
This glass plate has very good adhesion and a very smooth surface. When the heated bed cools down, the adhesion decreases and you can easily remove your finished artwork.

Amazing Printer

Of all the printers I have tried, the Sidewinder is the best. And you don't need to be a full-time printer-repair person to use it like with the Ender 3 pro. Quiet. Huge build area. Beautiful prints. Highly recommended.

Greetings,
So far, it's been a few weeks constantly printing. As most starting out, there was a learning curve learning the culture and technicalities in the 3D printing world. The X1 Artillery Sidewinder has been a good choice to better understand and learn how to be an avid 3D printer.
I have been using youtube and the facebook groups for the X1 Sidewinder. Feel free to look them up- I'd definitely advise it.
I've been very impressed with the setup. Don't lose hope with learning something new. It's worth it.
My plan is to make full use of the 3D printer's large surface area that is rare for it's tier. As a mid tier printer, it is worth the buy.
Looking forward to furthering my skills and knowledge-
