Like its predecessor: Simple but extraordinary
The Sidewinder X2 inherits the classic design of the Sidewinder X1: simple, superbly processed and characterised by an extraordinary texture.
Smart, integrated cable design
With its integrated cable design, the visual look is refined and maintenance is significantly simplified.
Titan extruder & modular nozzle set
The brand new titan extruder is equipped with a volcano nozzle that extrudes quickly and evenly and ensures high-precision printing. The maximum nozzle temperature of the volcano nozzle is 240 ° C.
32-bit motherboard upgrade
Artillery developed a 32-bit mainboard, which is characterised by its high stability, powerful computing power and great expandability.
Tempered glass print bed & AC heating bed
The tempered glass print platform ensures excellent adhesion and smooth printing. Thanks to its excellent thermal conductivity, the AC heated bed can be heated to 110 ° C in just 2 minutes; the maximum heating bed temperature is 130 ° C.
With protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, excessive temperature, short circuit and other safety risks, the Sidewinder X2 is a trustworthy partner.
Large print volume
With an installation space of 300 x 300 x 400 mm, larger projects can also be implemented.
Synchronised dual Z-axis design
A synchronized, dual Z-axis, double lead screw and a closed synchronous belt ensure good performance. The exclusive Z-axis coupler avoids layer problems and gives the print a certain sophistication and better quality.
Filament sensor and resume print function
The Sidewinder X2 resumes the printing process without any problems after a power failure and triggers an alarm if the filament runs out.
Ultra-quiet stepper driver
Thanks to the low-noise system and the ultra-quiet stepper driver, there are hardly any unpleasant noises when printing.
Automatic bed levelling
The automatic bed levelling is a smart further development of the previous model Sidewinder X1.
With the Sidewinder X2, manual levelling of the print bed is no longer necessary, the 3D printer does it easily by itself, which avoids levelling errors and saves a lot of time.
Broadband power supply
The high-quality broadband power supply is underpinned by sophisticated technologies and a stable power supply.
45 ° inclined colour touchscreen
A high-resolution colour touchscreen with a simple and easy-to-understand user interface makes operation convenient and convenient.

Marlin 2.1.2 Input Shaping
Want to push your printer to the limit? Then you can upgrade this printer with the latest version of Marlin firmware, which includes input shaping - a feature that smooths out unwanted vibrations that can cause unsightly ringing and other imperfections in your print, thereby limiting your print speed. Sidewinder X2
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Great printer, let down somewhat by the unevenly heated glass bed. Replaced mine with an aluminium bed and a magnetic pei print surface. Reused the existing head pad too :) Top marks for decently fast delivery too!

Artilery quality
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
The printer itself is solid, it works great with minimal configuration, at least with PLA. It has a big print area and you can use it since the print bed is decently heated.
As for ABS, my luck has been very bad. I tried some test prints and some full size prints and cant get it to work. The prints which have decent layer lines dont stick to the bed in some places and the ones who stick have layer separation. I have tried putting a box around the printer different temps ( from 240 to 265 ) with cooling fan, without, heating the bed from 100 to 120 something always goes wrong. I will try another type of ABS, maybe I am just unlucky.
All in all if you are looking for a big printer this is a good choice, I would definitely buy it again since I mostly print PLA. Oh and as a last thing, the spool holder is trash, I printed one which sits on top of the provided one and its much better. ( the abs stuff and the spool holder thing is why it has 4 not 5 stars from me )
