Description
The Fiberlogy PA12 + CF has the technical capabilities of PA12 and has been further enhanced by the addition of 15% carbon fibres. Compared to unmodified nylon PA12, it is characterized by high heat resistance and lower shrinkage.
The addition of carbon fibres allows for weight reduction of the component while maintaining its high structural rigidity.
PA12 + CF offers a wide range of applications across the industry, including the automotive and engineering industries, to develop advanced prototypes, drones and end products that require increased durability while reducing weight.
Properties
- Double the tensile strength of PA12
- More than twice as stiff as PA12
- Higher thermal resistance compared to unmodified PA12 (up to 160 ° C)
- High chemical resistance
Note: The material has very abrasive properties. We recommend the use of hardened steel or ruby nozzles.

Surprisingly easy to print!
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I have a Qidi X-Plus 3D Printer with a PEI build plate and use Magigoo PA: Fiberology Nylon PA12 + CF15 is probably one of the easiest materials to print, it's just as easy as printing PLA! I'm printing at 265/80 C, no warping, sticks well to the buildplate, I've been able to print small parts (10 pcs of 20x10 mm) with no failure so far. The surface is a little rough and not as smooth as other materials and thus fine details is are not as "sharp", but at the same time, prints look less 3D printed as layers are not as visible. Tip: I saw someone complaining that the spool didn't fit in their dryer, but the exterior has white sides that are snapped on and they can be removed.

Fiberlogy PA12 + CF15
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
This material is fantastic. Almost zero warping even without an enclosure, incredibly strong, very stiff when used at 5mm thicknesses. This is my favourite material and have used it successfully in multiple applications including automotive oil cooler ducting, automotive air/oil seperator and even for competitive shooting accessories.
If you have never printed with engineering grade materials before, start here and you won't regret it.
I print at 0.16mm layer height, 270c nozzle 100c bed (90c for larger parts as bed adhesion seems to be proportional to bed temp), 30-45mm/s print speed, 25mm/s retraction speed with a Zodiac Pro 0.4mm nozzle on a direct drive converted Ender 3 MAXWas this rating helpful? (3) (0)

Very nice print on first try
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I bought this earlier this year but decided to wait until my printer was fully enclosed before making an attempt to use it. This is the very first time I've tried printing with nylon cf. Well I have to say it printed perfectly. No warping, good layer adhesion, came out a really strong part. After reading so many horror stories about nylon I was very happy with the result. Here's my settings should anyone find them useful:
Enclosed printer, bed at 90 on first layer, then 80.
260 on nozzle.
Initial layer at 20 m/s then 40 m/s.
8 mm. brim.
My printer's chamber is not actively heated, so I waited for temp inside to reach ~40 deg from the heat from the bed before starting to print.
Print surface was TwoTrees PEI covered in glue stick. Was this rating helpful? (7) (4)

Much easier to print than normal nylon
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
Much easier to print compared to the non carbon fiber version. However when you add the CF it is not as unbreakable as the normal nylon. Perfect for larger models.

Great finish and strong
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Not an easy to print filament. Had to dry it first after opening, then overall quality increased substantially.
