XL tool changer

The centrepiece of the XL is its revolutionary tool changer. Up to five materials can be loaded simultaneously and switching between print heads is done in fractions of a second. With space for up to five 2kg spools, you can print huge objects without interrupting the printer - ideal for projects that cry out for size and versatility.

Segmented heating bed

The Original Prusa XL utilises a unique segmented heating bed consisting of 16 separately controlled tiles. This modular design eliminates the heat distortion that occurs with conventional heating beds and ensures consistently high print quality and maximum reliability.

Energy efficiency is a top priority - unused tiles are automatically switched off to minimise your power consumption.

Uninterrupted printing with Spool Join

Empty spools? No problem! The spool join function seamlessly switches to the next spool as soon as the current one has been used up. Utilise your remaining spools or print gigantic models of up to 10 kg without lifting a finger.

Connect to your printer - anytime, anywhere

Thanks to wired and wireless connections, you can conveniently control the printer remotely via the secure, encrypted Prusa Connect system. Simply upload G-code via drag-and-drop in the browser and start printing within seconds.

Prusa Connect makes your workflow smarter: plan your prints efficiently, keep an eye on progress and monitor everything conveniently via webcam, giving you full control - whether you're in the office, at home or on the move.

Maintenance and user-friendliness at the highest level - it couldn't be easier!
